Dr. Milford remembered seeing me within the last year for a broken bone in right hand and arthritis issues in my left hand. He has given me one cortisone injection in my right hand 4 months ago. I am having pain again in that hand and assumed that he would automatically hive me another injection. Instead, he counseled me about future possibilities for my painful hand, including perhaps replacing the joint of my righting finger. He could have quickly jumped to surgery but instead recommended that I continue regularly taking Celebrex. He told me to come back to see him if the pain prevented me from doing things that I need to do. I left the office feeling better versed about my condition.
