Caroline Heacock joined our team in August as a Physical Therapy Assistant. She comes to us from Hazelton, PA and is a graduate from Penn State with a degree as a physical therapy assistant. Her focus is in orthopaedics.

2008 Dr. Tom Altizer Memorial Scholarship Winners

The year’s two well deserving seniors are Aaron Mills of Clear Spring High School and Kayla Barnes of Boonsboro High School. Aaron will be attending Lebanon Valley College and plans to major in Biology with a concentration in Ecology. Kayla will be attending Frostburg State University and plans to pursue a degree in physical therapy. They were both awarded a $1,000.00 scholarship. Doctors Salvagno and Rothen wishes both recipients the very best!

STAT Clinic-Every Monday evening

STAT Clinic-Every Monday evening at 5:00 pm the practice offers a FREE sports medicine clinic designed for student athletes of the tri-state area. It includes an evaluation by our sports medicine team and runs consecutively through the 2008-2009 school year. A parent/guardian must be present if the student us under the age of 18. Dr Roberta “Bobbie” Rothen recently passed the subspecialty exam in sports medicine. In addition to having her Diplomate certificate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery she also has a Subspecialty Certificate in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine.
