Our practice was established in 1996 by the late Dr. Tom Altizer and Dr. Ralph Salvagno.  Both doctors had extensive experience in total joint replacement surgery in their previous practices and felt a strong desire to focus more fully on improving the quality of their patients’ lives through these procedures. Dr. Roberta Rothen joined the practice in 2001 and focuses on sports medicine and traditional orthopaedic needs. Dr. Wayne Leadbetter joined the practice in 2011 and specializes in all aspects of outpatient orthopaedic care.

We also have an excellent professional staff that offers a team approach and we welcome patients of all ages. Ronald Spruill, PA-C, a physician assistant, Emily Young, PA-C, also a physician assistant, Lynne Kline, CRNP, a nurse practitioner, Laura Blair, PT, physical therapist; Pete Rinehart, MPT, Jolee Ashley, DPT also  physical therapists, and our physical therapy assistants, Julie Martin, PTA, and Caroline Delorme, PTA.
