Charles “Pete” Rinehart, MPT

Charles “Pete” Rinehart, MPT

Pete is a 1999 graduate of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore with a master of physical therapy. His work experience has been all orthopaedic, concentrating in musculoskeletal conditions. Pete has a particular interest in working with athletes and sports injury rehabilitation. He has assisted with sports physicals and our free sports clinic for area school athletes.


Ragan Shaw, DPT

Ragan Shaw, DPT

Ragan is a graduate of the Shenandoah University School of Physical Therapy with a doctor of physical therapy degree. She has practiced primarily in outpatient physical therapy treating a multitude of injuries and diagnoses. Ragan joined The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics - Parkway in May 2019 and is happy to be practicing in her hometown of Hagerstown, MD, to provide comprehensive orthopaedic rehabilitation for patients of all ages.


Kelly Slocum, MPT

Kelly Slocum, MPT

Kelly joined the Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics - Parkway Division with over 14 years of professional experience in physical rehabilitation, having worked in the Hagerstown area for at least 10 of those years. A graduate of Andrews University with a master of physical therapy, Kelly holds certifications with the American Physical Therapy Association and the American Heart Association.

As an active participant in our community, Kelly is the coordinator of the Micah’s backpack program at Bester Elementary School, on behalf of St. John’s Episcopal Church, as well as "team mom" for her daughter's soccer team.


Alice Wong, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Alice joined the Center of Advanced of Orthopedics Parkway Division in 2020 after practicing almost 10 years in the Baltimore Washington area. She graduated from University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2010 where she has practiced in the outpatient setting specializing in post op conditions and creating functional activities for patients. In her spare time, she can be found outside gardening, hiking or inside reading.​


Julie Martin, PTA

Julie Martin, PTA

Julie is a 1997 graduate of Penn State University where she received her degree as a physical therapist assistant. In 2002, she received her bachelor’s degree in business from Mountain State University. Her career as a PTA has been focused in orthopaedics, spanning from pediatrics to geriatrics. She has a special interest in working with post-operative patients, athletes, and people with diabetes.


Andrew Ashway, PTA

Andy graduated from Penn State Mont Alto in 2005 with a physical therapist assistant degree. Since that time he has worked exclusively in outpatient physical therapy. His interest and specialty is in total joint rehabilitation programs, as well as in sports medicine.

Having joined our physical therapy team in June 2012, Andy helps patients regain an active lifestyle, free from pain.


Todd Anderson, OTR/L, CLT, CEAS

Todd Anderson, OTR/L, CLT, CEAS

Todd comes to Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics-Parkway Division with 27 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist.  He graduated from Creighton University in 1990.  Todd started his therapy career in a general rehabilitation facility in Chambersburg, PA.  He then branched out to practice in outpatient Occupational Therapy, focusing on hand and upper extremity rehabilitation, earning his Certification in Hand Therapy in 2001.  Due to his frequent exposure to edema in the upper extremity, Todd went on to get further training and became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist in 2008, and now treats lymphedema in the upper and lower extremities.  Todd also has extensive experience treating the injured worker and has experience performing Functional Capacity Evaluations and Ergonomics / Job Site Visits.
